If Katniss had free time, she would go hunting with Gale. Katniss is allowed to hunt in District 13, but she has limits. She can only hunt for an hour and only within a 2 mile radius. She would be able to hunt for as long as she wants. She would also be able to hunt as far away as she wants. The good part about hunting in District 13 is that animals are not scarce.
