Gia loves to play with her friends and her teachers during school hours. She loves it when she tells jokes to her friends during break. Gia thinks she is the most funniest girl in school. Her teachers thinks she is so good making friends and making good grades. She likes it when she does her homework early.
3. List three words that were hard for you to pronounce. Then, list two words that you were not sure of what they meant. How did you figure out what them meant? pupil, stempils, stumped. pupil meaning it is the bock thing in the middle of your eye. Stemics means it is the reaction to something.
I started on page 1.I ended at page 42. The hard words were Stephanie, Aunt Abigai and Yankees. The words that i don't know what they mean are tip and Yankees.

ReplyDeleteSnagged,Frieda, and Zamboni were all hard to pronounce. Not sure what Zamboni is either. Was not sure what donned meant. Snoopy donned a baseball hat so I thought it must mean that he is putting it on. I knew what a Zamboni was because I remember seeing Woodstock on the ice machine.

There were no hard words for me to pronounce. All the words made sense. It there was a hard word me to pronounce then I would look it looked up in the dictionary.
The One and Only Ivan started on page 97 ended on page 127
ReplyDeleteLilting, impatiently and abruptly were hard words to pronounce. Contemplating and pleadingly were the two words I didn't know the meaning of. I had help by my tutor and looked up the meanings online.

Funnies i then found out its a short word for comic books. Experienced have done it once before. Situations when something goes wrong. I figured them out by looking back in the sentence to see what they mean. They are hard words.

Here are a few words that I was not sure what they meant: topaz, belonged, & abrasions. I did not have trouble pronouncing any of the words. I could understand all the words.

One of the hard words for me to pronounce was rationing. The second heard the word for me to pronounce is condiments. The third hardest word to pronounce is ambushed. Electricity was a hard word for me to sound out. degrees was a hard word, because I have not got it stuck in my head.

The three words that where hard for me to pronounce where cleaver, scurry and foe. The two words I didn't know were gnash and heather. I figured put that gnash is like slice or bash and heather is a plant like moss.
